Been wanting to try papi tacos for a while. It was PHENOMENAL. The tacos had so much flavor. I didn't expect it but the coconut shrimp taco was my absolute favoriteeeeeee. The bill for so much food was under 100 and I had a delicious sangria as well. Super highly recommend.
We were in the mood for tacos and visiting my family in WPB and PapiChulo was the place to go! I mean, how can't you try it with the name already. I'm Cuban, so I immediately found it fun. Papichulos is right off of 441 in Royal Palm/Wellington. Upon coming inside, they have cute decor, hanging lights, and everything was clean in our table. Super nice vibe. We had a round of margaritas to try. My family had the Papi Rita which you can't go wrong with - like a traditional margarita and I ordered The Gloria Margarita. It was SO good. I highly recommend it. It was made with Don Julio blanco tequila. For food - we had to try the wide variety of tacos. We had a round of the Carne Asada, Pollo and a Tuna Poke Tostada which was all delicious and unique in their own way. Suuuuper tasty. We also ordered the smoked brisket nachos and that thing was a BEAST. We were a table of 7 and we were all stuffed with the amount of food it was. But it was so worth me risking a heart attack - it was jam-packed with flavor. Overall, we had a great experience at PapiChulo. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!
Papi Chulo will always have a special place in my heart! Their happy hour is definitely worth it--great deals and an even better vibe. My all-time favorite has to be the Brussels sprout tacos. I'm not vegetarian or anything, but they are absolutely out of this world. And the drinks? Let's just say... the drinks be drinking!! That's all I gotta say. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out! And even when they're busy I've never had an issue, service is always wonderful !
We enjoy treating our family business employees to a lunch for their hard work over the year, which was at Papichulos with Olivia as our server. She has such a happy and warm personality, that I felt compelled to leave this review. She promptly tended to all of our needs and seems to truly enjoy her job, which definitely added to our fun dining experience! We highly recommend Papichulos for delicious food and drinks, especially Olivia, if you are lucky enough to have her as your server. We also bought gift cards so we'll be back!
